Slavery

   Why is Slavery a Problem?

Slavery is a condition of having to work for someone for them to make fortune. Some slaves are Physically abused and being regularly whipped until their backs were permanently disfigured, in short they are not treated nicely. But why? In this writing, your going to understand what ‘slavery’ is and why is it a problem.

What is Slavery? Before knowing why slavery is a big issue, you need to know enough information about ‘slavery’. 10% -20% slaves died in the US, it’s obviously a lie. An outright lie, millions of slaves or people died.

How? They were mistreated, being packed like sardines on top of each other. Not being able to taste freedom, even drinking water is still a hard thing for them to experience. When did it all started? 1619, the year when 20 Africans were brought to an colony of Jamestown, Virginia. In Southern and Eastern Europe, slavery is considered a normal thing. Then it began to spread in Italy, Spain, Southern France and Portugal, and up to this day there are some parts of the world who considered ‘slavery’ a normal thing.

Why is it a problem? A problem is a matter of situation regarded as unwelcome needing to be dealt with. Slavery is a condition of having to work for someone for them to make fortune. Two different words but when you put it together, it’s a really big word that is also part of our history. But why? Why is it a big issue? It is because people are included in it. Your safety, their safety and our safety is included. How? Think about the people who suffered during slavery, what if that happens again? Another reason is, every single one of us doesn’t like being hurt or even touched. But how about others? Who are being physically abused and more?

Freedom, your lucky if you have that. Standing up for yourself and for others, is a nice way of showing that no one should be treated unevenly.
