Final Post for 2017!

Today is the final day that we get to use our chromebooks at school, I had an awesome experience in this school even I'm new, I'm at Mr Goodwin's Literacy and Maths class.

My Highlights at this school are the Cross Country day it was so fun , Athletics day, Stardome trip and  Manaiakalani Film Festival.

I feel like I learned a lot about music instruments.

Next year I'm feeling excited because I can't wait to be a year 7 student.

Week 6 2017

Walt: write a recount about a personal experience. 

Have you ever saw a hero? Well...in this writing your gonna read about what crazy things happened in this fantastic week! Like Princess Belle being at beast mode and more!

While we’re on our chromebooks we heard a loud noise near our school that caught all of our attention!. We all go outside and saw Superman and Batman fighting it’s like….Batman Vs. Superman!.Some of us are cheering for Batman and some for some for Superman, but they stop and left like nothing happened. So we go back to class and go on our chromebooks again.

The next thing happened is we go outside because we decided to go for a quick run, then it’s like the ground is moving it’s like...we all run away because Princess Belle is in BEAST mode!.She run after us and tries to chase us well we’re good runners(i mean they’re good runners),then she gets tired and also left. We are all tired of running, while we’re resting under the tree there’s footsteps that we heard then we saw a big GODZILLA trying to destroy our school!But King Kong came and punch him on the face!.They both left and we are all happy cause our school is safe.

We taught all of that crazy things that happened are ended but it’s not! We’re eating our morning tea’s then suddenly we fall asleep when we woke up  we saw Batman, Superman, Princess Belle and Godzilla! We are so frightened they all look very grumpy they’re holding a piece of wood. It’s like they’re gonna hit that piece of to us but no they hug us and say sorry for disturbing our beautiful and happy school. They also promise not to do that again.

I learned that even you have big cRaZy problems it can be solved with the help of your friends, like us in this week we have been on a big big problem because someone is trying to destroy our school! But we have solved it!.

Task Description: So for this task we need to write about what happened in our week while the other year 6's are at camp. Well basically our week is fun and cRaZy. 

Sprint Practice

Task Description: So for this task we need to write about what we notice at Usain Bolt's sprinting and also we need to write about what we notice at a video which shows a slow-motion video of us sprinting.

Thank you for Athletics Day

Walt: using descriptive language

To all our helpers, I wanted to thank you all for being there for us on Athletics day. We really appreciate it & it was such a really great experience to us.

Last Friday the 10th of November is Athletics day. Athletics day is all about fun,sports and sportsmanship. At Athletics day  we do lots of games, activities and some fun stuff. This year’s Athletics day is a very awesome experience, as usual we do things that is exciting . It’s like the best day ever!

As we continue playing games...there was one part that is my favorite. I really enjoyed it even it’s kinda challenging, it is the RELAY!. At the relay we do jumps, running and rolls. So that’s why I enjoyed it, I actually enjoyed the other games too.

At next year’s Athletics day, I’ll try to do my best at sprinting because I know at myself that I’m not good at it. So next year’s Athletics day,I’ll try to do my best at some of the games that i’m not good at.  Next year I will practice harder at some of the sports.

I enjoyed all of the games, it’s like a day full of happiness and excitement. I learned that it doesn’t matter if you win or lose because the important thing is you enjoyed the game.

Immersion Assembly Writing Plan

Walt: use adjectives to improve our descriptive writing.

This morning we had an immersion assembly. The teachers we’re singing,the others were playing instruments. Have you ever been at an immersion assembly?

Our topic for this term is Musical Madness. The teachers of teams 1-5 performed a wonderful item about their plans on this term, I like the team 5’s topic because it’s Amazing and fantastic as well as the other teams. The other teams did really well too some of them sung some of them act and some of them created a movie.

Team 4’s topic is about creating our own music. The teachers are in the vehicle listening to so many different kinds of tunes,at the end it has Pt England Music ad which is like the Apple Music ad. The movie was Amazing and it’s educational because you can learn about music.

I hope I can learn how to strum a guitar. I like to learn how to play a guitar so I can sing while strumming it, I’d like to play more musical instruments aside from a guitar. I also want to learn how to sing more.

I think this term  would be really exciting. For me this term would be fun cause the teachers seems to be very excited about this term.

Stardome Trip!

Last Thursday we have a trip to Star dome. It was hot and windy at the same time, In Star dome there different cool objects and it is all about space. Have you been at Stardome? What did you feel?

First I go to school with my mom because she’s one of the helpers. Then I saw my friends I hug them and I go inside with them. I was so excited to go at the trip since I’m going at the morning with my group. Them my mom and auntie met my friends we are so happy because we can’t wait to go at Stardome. Also my friend take a picture of us before we go, Then we left our bags and line up outside as the the teacher said. Are you excited before going to Stardome?

Now we are in the bus, I sat with my friend as we go we saw the teachers waving at us. While we are in the bus some of them are playing, having fun and singing quietly like me and my friend. The trip was not too long so we have ten minutes more to spend so the teachers allows us to play at the playground, It was so fun. Inside the Stardome we are allowed to explore the space gallery there are so many cool stuff in there. Then the lady a presentation about the moon and the planets while showing it she is explaining it to us. Then lady gave us an Ipad with questions we need to find the answers at the dome. It was crazy I didn’t know that I’m in lost and I’m in the other group. Then we go to the Planetarium to watch a movie which make me dizzy because we are like moving but we are not it’s just the images at the ceiling, And yes it is at the ceiling. But it was so fun after all.

It was so fun after all, But we need to leave after the movie. We lined up outside and go inside the bus, It was so tiring but fun. In the bus some of them are kinda sleepy because of tiredness some of them are quiet because of tiredness also I think. My mom and my friend just talk about FOOD it was funny. Then we just arrived at our school. We eat our morning tea while watching the rugby game which the players is from our school. Then we ate our lunch and played tennis

I learned that believe in yourself. Enjoy the days that you have. I learned that God’s creations are absolutely beautiful. So we need to take care of them.

Cross Country 2017

Walt: structure a recount. 

Last week on Friday everyone at Pt England School had participated in our School Cross Country fun run. It so hot but muddy at the same time. Have you ever done a School Cross Country before?

During the race It was so hot and muddy at the same time, I don’t know why. I run with Makayla the run was long I did not run all the way without stopping, I jog a little bit because I was huffing and puffing. I thought I will not finish the race but I did because I said myself that I need to be determined to finish the race, I finish the race with my friend.

After the race I get so thirsty and tired I can’t believe I finish the race I was so happy that time, I drink a cup of water from the water station. Then I  sat down with my friends and we chat a little bit about the race, My shoes is wet and muddy at the same time because I didn’t take them off before the race. What place did you come at the race?

I learned that believe in yourself that if they can do it,you can do it. Next time I will encourage others to believe in there self.

Task Description: So for this task were going to do this presentation, So first I made a copy of it, Then my friend  Makayla help me  to take a picture of myself, Next is I take a picture of the chair, The next thing I did  is I multiply the size of my feet and the number of my  foot steps at the chair and the answer is 88 which is the length of the chair , Then I multiply 88 to 3 for the giant's world. Next is we need to find a object to measure using our foot steps when I multiply again the size of my foot and the number of my foot steps the answer is 198 which is the length of the bag.
